Male patterns of seeking -- or not seeking -- help for medical problems were apparent in a study done by the insurance company Aflac in April 2021 and published in June in conjunction with Men’s Health Month.
A team of Danish investigators led by researcher Sarah Pedersen, of the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, extensively interviewed eight fathers with PPD and found their primary experiences involved feelings of being overwhelmed and powerless or inadequate, which sometimes turned into anger and frustration.
The good news: Vaccinations are up. The less than good news: We missed President Biden's goal for vaccinations. The bad news: Half the U.S. saw an increase in cases last week and one Missouri hospital had so many COVID patients it ran out of ventilators.
